Well, how did it go for you? Did you have a career before the kids and then pick it up again smoothly afterwards? If so, then… congratulations! You are one of the few parents in a leadership position who were able to pick up where they left off after the birth of their children. But you probably had to go back full-time after that, didn’t you?
Many of us live in an absolutely equitable relationship before the birth of the first child. We rather naively assume that everything will continue much the same after the child arrives. This is only rarely possible.
