“Do good and talk about it”, this recipe for high employer attractiveness is already well known with respect to the compatibility of family and career. Many companies have established a wide variety of media and formats for communicating their offers for family-work balance. Not least because of the Corona pandemic, employees have learned to actively approach the company with their compatibility of family and career needs, to demand support and to propose their own solutions. Family-work compatibility as a shared responsibility, i.e. recognizing employees as competent agents who not only cross the boundaries between work and family on a daily basis, but also want to shape and manage them according to their own ideas.
